The couple got engaged in August 2018 where they started their own personal wedding hashtag #ItTook10. From surreal outdoor mandap decor to colour coordinated groomsmen and bridesmaids, it was one of a kind of a wedding.
So, here we have all the exclusive pictures from Anita Dongre’s son wedding from engagement to their pre wedding bash and wedding day.
Spring Summery Engagement
Yash Dongre, son of legendary designer Anita Dongre got engaged to Benaisha Kharas at The Olive Bar, Mumbai last year in August. Their engagement pictures are full of summery vibes with close friends and family in attendance.
Pre-Wedding Carnival Themed Brunch
The couple’s pre wedding bash and wedding ceremony was a close-knit affair for their friends and family. The celebration took place in Mussoorie amidst the picturesque hills and their wedding pictures ooze out a fresh breath of summer weddings. The couple chose to make #SEWA a part of their celebration as they adorned a twinning look designed by the artisans of Gujarat who are a part of Anita Dongres sustainable clothing unit. High on the couple’s priority list was wearability and comfort for their attires. Anita Dongre’s team made sure that the outfits were light in weight and fuss-free which allowed them to freely spend quality time with friends and family.
Yash Dongre opted for Nehru jacket to style up this pre wedding look while Benaisha wore a stunning crop top and lehenga skirt with classic Anita Dongre USP-pockets in the skirt.

Wedding Day
Yash Dongre and Benaisha Kharas wedding took place at JW Marriott Mussoorie amidst the breathtaking mountain views. The wedding was an intimate affair and with minimalistic yet inviting, rustic verdant flower arrangements reminiscent of spring summer vibes.
The blushing bride always wanted to get married in pink. Her gota patti lehenga was handcrafted in Rajasthan, with Benaisha’s favourite quote embroidered into the dupatta- “πΎπππ π° πππ πππ π° ππππ ππ ππππ, πππ
πππ ππππππ
πππππππ πππ ππππ”.
Benaisha chose to walk down the aisle with her father, in a cultural coming together of the Hindu and Zoroastrian faiths.
